I was looking forward to a Captain Marvel movie being made, but the casting is terrible and I'm so sick of this "men suck women are amazing" stuff. Notice how noone complained about Wonder Woman? I loved that movie. This one just feels forced, which lines up perfectly with the cringeworthy statements Brie Larson has made about white men and diversity. Pass.

Screen Rant published a MISLEADING article about all of the negative pre-reviews (Incorrectly referring to them as REVIEWS instead of correctly referring to them as PRE-REVIEWS) for Captain Marvel on Rotten Tomatoes, calling all of these people “toxic trolls” for simply saying that they DID NOT want to watch Captain Marvel. I take this personally, because one of those pre-reviews was MINE. I am just an average guy, expressing my honest opinion, that I didn’t want to watch Captain Marvel. Why does that INSANELY make me a “toxic troll”? Is calling me a “toxic troll” for expressing my own honest opinion, supposed to make me want to go to see Captain Marvel? Everyone else on the internet has given their PRE-REVIEWS on Captain Marvel, so why can’t the audience? So NO OPINIONS allowed?

Toxic feminism marvel hero.

Female empowerment in movies is a nice step, and pulled off correctly can be a major success, but to have a lead character who can stand up to oppression with nothing that grounds her character and pushes a political agenda can make a pretty bad movie. It's one thing if she has something that makes her human and has weaknesses that she overcomes through character development, but to have someone who wields all this power just because she can is a very one dimension character and will usually create more harm than good.

Captain Marvel is going to be the next Iron Man. She is going to be the start of the next phase. I believe that this movie is getting a lot of stick just as much as Iron Man when he was first announced. It was a risk, but came out for the best... Think about it, another few years Captain Marvel will be leading the next group of super heroes into battle against the next big bad villain.

Robert Downey Jr proved himself as Ironman as they kept identity politics out of most of these films and his quick wit and acting skills as that character took off.
